Addison has been my favorite character on the show since she showed up. Other than her the only characters I like are Bailey, Alex and Burke.
My wife and I both liked seeing Abigail Breslin again - she did a great job as super-girl.

That scene between Bailey and the Chief was great. She should just get her own show.
Did we really need another "Izzy's a drama queen" episode so soon? First it's, "Hey everyone! LOOK AT ME! I'm going to spend all day on the floor." Now it's, "Hey everyone! LOOK AT ME! I'm giong to spend all day outside the hospital."
For as much as I absolutely don't care whom Meredith "chooses", I love the competitive exchanges between Finn and Shepard.

And how about Yang? Webster's definition of the c-word. Has there ever been a more thouroughly unlikeable bitch of a character in television history?
Why the hell do I watch this show?

God I hate Meredith.
I hate this whole "dating the both of them plotline." It is stupid and lame. We don't know Finn enough to care if she picks him, let alone want her to pick him, and the whole thing makes McDreamy look like a jerk.
Team Addison, all the way. She rocks like a rocking thing.

It's really weird....I enjoyed S1 and S2 on DVD. and I've watched these first few episodes, and man it just seems very bad right now.
Did they change writers or something? Maybe it's just getting old. I'm out.on this series...

This show is super-popular? While watching this episode passively, all I saw were weak hospital characters with the usual TV stereotypes sleeping with each other with the occasional patient (of course at least one with a weird problem) to deal with ala ER (or even General Hospital).

A-fucking-men.
Good to see the episode ended on a positive note: skin-n-bones eating some ice cream. Of course, she needs to eat it by the drum the way she looks now. Poor poor Meredith and her trials and tribulations.

Was there anything posted about the fight between Patrick Dempsey and Isaih Washington? Very interesting. There have been rumours about Washington being jealous of Dempsey in the past, but this is the first time that any physical confrontation has been widely reported by more mainstream media.

From IMDB:

Dempsey and Washington Have On-Set Spat
Grey's Anatomy co-stars Patrick Dempsey and Isaiah Washington were involved in a heated argument on the set of their hit show on Monday which nearly ended in a fist-fight. Dempsey, 40, and Washington, 43, nearly came to blows during a spat over shooting issues. Washington tells US publication People, "We were like two baseball players... nose-to-nose. We had a difference of opinions while working on set but we've resolved it." Washington, who plays Dr. Preston Burke says the fight began over "time and (keeping) the production going. The communication was lost in translation." But he says no punches were thrown adding, "Our faces are too beautiful for that!" Dempsey's representative says, "In close families arguments happen. They worked it out." Washington added jokingly, "I've never been that close to (Patrick) before. He has really pretty blue eyes."

I think I would watch a "Meredith on Morphine" show.
There were lots of plates in the air in this episode. I still can't believe Burke was cleared because it doesn't seem like a lot of time has passed from last episode, and his injury sounded serious enough to need more time, not just extra PT from sewing up chickens.
Meredith's choice was a bit anticlimactic, it could be a world of drama if she insists on pursuing McDreamy after he's let go.
Karev finding out what an ass McSteamy was after singing his praises to Addison was played out well.
Denny's last voicemail was heartfelt and touching. Denny must be have been loaded given all the doctors and surgeries he underwent, given the size of the amount on that check his dad left with Izzie. It seems too much of a development and future crutch for the writers to lean on to "make things happen" with Izzie newfound money.
Bailey bailed out McSteamy when she didn't have to, and cut him down to size.
George is going to have a cow when he finds out about Torrez and McSteamy.

Glad there's no McBaby. That would be annoying.
I'm hoping McSteamy goes back to Boston and takes Torrez with him.
